Wire rope clips (GB forged) compared to cast clips, have a higher internal organizational unit density in the clamp seat, and the arc rope groove fits well with the wire rope, resulting in high binding strength. Additionally, when selecting wire rope clips, special attention should be paid to inspecting the dimensions of the U-bolt threads. The outer diameter of the threads must meet the requirements of GB/T197-2003, as excessive clearance between the threads and the nut can reduce the gripping force. The opening size of the U-bolt should also meet standard requirements; an overly large opening can cause misalignment of the rope strands, while an overly small opening can reduce clamping force. Carefully verify these before use.

Other considerations: Wire rope clips (GB forged) feature anti-slip grooves designed to match the lay direction of the wire rope. If the wire rope has a special structure, such as eight-strand or triangular strand, this should be specified to the supplier before ordering.

Correct arrangement method for wire rope clips: The arrangement of clips should comply with standard regulations, with the distance between clips being 6-7 times the rope diameter (this applies to natural state and when using thimbles). Clips that have been used under load are generally not recommended for reuse.
